Dr. Jackan Gutu is the B&A PR Human Resource and Development Director. He has both local and international experience for over 20 years. Dr. Gutu also involves himself in the facilitation of workshops and seminars for local and international companies. He has lectured, trained, consulted and held seminars in the Public and Private Sectors.

Executive Selection and Research. He also worked with the Ministry of Water Development and Office of the President as a senior officer. He has been involved in a number of management research projects in and outside Kenya.

Dr. Gutu has also taught in Nairobi and USIU Universities and local colleges,
presented papers to seminars and conferences on varying management issues. He has been a guest speaker for various organizations on modern issues of strategic management and their application in a liberalized economy. He is also a K-Map trained counselor. He has attended ISO 14000 Standards. He has done extensive research on the management of Public Enterprise. Dr. Gutu has also done some consultancy working for political parties and presidential parties in the last two elections in Kenya. While in USA Dr. Gutu did volunteer work for both President Regan and Clinton during their first term election campaigns. He currently sits in as a Board of Directors of various companies Public, Private, NGOs, SACCOs and Learning Institutions.

Dr.Gutu holds a B.Sc degree in Finance and Economics, an MBA in Finance and Marketing and Ph.D. Degree in Strategic Management and Finance, San Diego, California, USA where he still serves as an Associate Professor. Dr. Gutu did his Doctorate work on Strategic Management of Parastatals in Kenya.
