KenCell Communications Ltd. (Now Celtel Kenya Ltd) is Kenya’s 2nd GSM Network operator. B&A PR provided PR support for the new operator prior, during and after the launch of KenCell Communications - greatly contributing to its successful rollout in Kenya’s mobile market despite the presence of a long-established competition.

Compaq East Africa came onboard at a time when the hardware industry in the region was going through a great deal of change and turbulence, occasioned by sudden market expansion as well as a huge influx of cloned units. B&A PR steered the Compaq/HP merger and the eventual launch of HP East Africa.

Established in August 2003, Mecer (E.A.) Limited, a subsidiary of Mustek Limited (SA) is the first PC assembler in East Africa. B&A PR was responsible for launching Mecer (E.A) in the Kenyan market.

WorldSpace Africa was founded in 1990 in Washington, DC, to provide direct satellite delivery of digital audio communications and multimedia services (transmit quality information, education and entertainment programming). Following the establishment of the WorldSpace Africa office in Nairobi, B&A PR had the privilege to work with the firm on ad hoc public relations and event management projects.

B&A PR had the chance to offer public relations and events management service for Fintech Group, an East and Central Africa’s leading provider of IT solutions with representative status for some of the world largest software and hardware manufacturers.
